When they took over the brand in 2022, Étienne and Tym, two best friends with a passion for watchmaking, had a dream in mind.

A flying Tourbillon at this price, why and how is it possible?
We noticed that there was a big gap in the watch market between :
- Swiss Made tourbillon watches: magnificent and very well finished, but excessively expensive and therefore inaccessible to the majority of enthusiasts (often over CHF 20,000).
- Tourbillon watches from Asian manufactures and assemblages. Much cheaper, but very unreliable and often with no after-sales service…
With Blackout Concept, you’re choosing a unique hybrid model that combines the know-how and expertise of our Swiss watchmakers with the reliability and affordability of Asian parts.
Thanks to our watchmakers, certified by more than 26 major brands, and to the head of the David watchmaking department, a former tourbillon caster who worked for Patek Philippe, for example, we have put in place a method to ensure the reliability of Asian tourbillons.

How can we make our whirlpools more reliable?
The Blackout Concept test method was developed after testing thousands of Asian whirlpools.
We realized that the neglect of many details was at the root of many technical defects in the movements.
We carry out a series of tests and modifications, visible in the video opposite, to eliminate any risk of malfunction.
Our tourbillons are completely transformed in our workshops in Geneva, Switzerland, before being fitted into their forged carbon cases.

So it was vital for us to be creative, and pay particular attention to detail.
So we came up with an idea…
Forged carbon is good, very good indeed…
But luminescent forged carbon is exceptional!
Luminova powder mixed with forged carbon during design, and your XP1 Tourbillon will glow in the dark when UV-charged.
It’s a detail that makes all the difference!
Changing straps and loops
We’ve designed our bracelets with an easy “quick release” fastening system.
You can change your straps, and therefore the look of your watch, in a matter of seconds, without even needing tools!
We also offer 2 types of buckles, pin or folding, so you can choose the king, and for your comfort.
